Engagement of Les Chalets du Queyras in sustainable development approach.
Our approach and our motivation is to make this achievement one innovative operation in the field of renewable energies, which can serve as
demonstration project, and instead of teaching expertise within the Queyras Regional Park.
This project is the first in the Queyras Regional Park with a photovoltaic
power generation connected to the network. (Collection, processing and dissemination of data collected)
The first phase of construction has resulted in the construction of seven cottages on the site of the hamlet of Rua with openings and views on the local architecture but also on the landscape. The location on the site has been optimized to take maximum advantage of solar gain.
The chalets are equipped with enhanced thermal insulation and energy management automation (heating water, heating and other household purposes). The achievement has been made in a traditional recalling the major use of wood, using massive timbers stacked. The photovoltaic modules are installed on the roofs of cottageWe are committed to pay back half the proceeds of production for 5 years as a patron to the Regional Park to contribute to the promotion of sustainable development in which he is engaged. especially for schools Queyras.
A carbon footprint equivalent to 0.99
kilotonnes CO 2 per annum (average annual flow of CO2 equivalent avoided or added by the project)
environmental record is as follows:
If we consider that PV production equals the electricity avoided, taking into account a ratio of 0.06 kg of CO2 saved per kWh of electricity
(equivalent to intermittent use) and a ratio of emission cars Special 154g CO2/km
